Sierra Mist - Undercover Orange

PepsiCo & Warner Bros teamed up during summer 2008 to promote a movie and a new flavor of soda. Warner Bros Pictures’ film version of the 1960s TV series “Get Smart” hit the theaters on June 20th. This feature film was supported by a multi-million dollar promotional campaign from PepsiCo. 

PepsiCo introduced its limited edition Sierra Mist Undercover Orange soda looking to attract consumers during the summer of 2008. 

Carbonated soft drink sales had decreased over the  months as consumers were looking towards non-carbonated healthier drinks. This new Sierra Mist flavor had a splash of mandarin orange, but remained clear in color. Instead of looking like most orange sodas, Sierra Mist went for a more natural look.
